Available industrial and commercial sites are located in a state-designated Economic Development Zone, and that translates to added financial incentives for business that locate there. Additionally, all are situated in a Foreign Trade Zone. The PARC property has two spurs and a turnaround on the main Canadian-Pacific rail line that runs from Montreal and points north to New York City and points south. An on-premises rail link serves PARC's industrial complex. A state-of-the-art childcare center operates at PARC under auspices of the YMCA. The Barracks golf course and an 8,000-foot Lake Champlain shoreline featuring a beach, docks and marina -- maintained by the city of Plattsburgh -- highlight outstanding indoor and outdoor recreational assets at PARC.
